In normal daily use, stove top kitchenware is generally below 325ºF. However some frying pans and cast iron pots that have been cooking at high heat may be over this temperature. In these cases care should be taken by letting the pot or pan cool first.
Abrasive cleansers will not damage your Sierra sink. In fact, we recommend using an abrasive cleanser and a green Scotch-Brite™ pad at regular intervals to keep your Sierra sink looking new and free from minor scratches. For deeper scratches use a green Scotch-Brite™ pad or a fine grit sandpaper. In most cases small chips can also be sanded out. Larger chips may require a repair kit that is available directly from
the manufacturer.
